Bed and Breakfast
You know how children sometimes bring home stray animals?
Not so with our son. He brings home people. When he was in kindergarten, he brought home one of his classmates on the bus. The little boy decided he wanted to play with Devyn so he got on the bus with him and followed him home. It totally wasn't a concern to him that Devyn's bus wasn't his bus. Or that his parents would be waiting at his bus stop.
So it shouldn't have surprised me when Devyn called last Sunday night after his Especially for Youth counselor training meeting and asked if he could bring home a couple of EFY counselors for the week. His "couple" turned into "five". And what fun it was!

We enjoyed having them in our home--a great group of guys. They are from Utah, northern Florida, North Carolina and California. It was fun to have breakfast with them and then visit with them about how things went at the end of day (on the days that I waited up for everyone to get home).

Now our house feels empty again. Who's coming next?
